Consistency Is My Strength. Break the Limits.

Born in February 2013, Sari started skiing at the age of two and enjoyed skiing bumps from an early age.

In fifth grade, she experienced moguls through the Sapporo Junior Athlete program organized by the Sapporo Sports Association. Seeing the sport made her think, “That looks so cool. I want to ski on mogul skis,” inspiring her to pursue moguls seriously.

She joined TEAM BANKEI in 2025, during her first year of junior high school, and began competing in moguls.

With consistent turns and a steady mindset as her strengths, she continues to improve by making every step of the process count.

02 / GOAL

THE NEXT GOAL.

THIS SEASON

My goals this season are to place among the top athletes in the junior high school division of the Moguls event at the JOC Junior Olympic Cup in Sapporo and advance to the third round in Dual Moguls.

FUTURE

My goal is to become an athlete who can compete internationally.

I also want to help create an environment where people can continue skiing into the future.

03 / ATHLETE STORY

What Looked Cool Became Something I Wanted to Pursue.

I have loved skiing bumps since I was little.

In fifth grade, I had the opportunity to try moguls through the Sapporo Junior Athlete program.

I remember thinking, “This is so cool. I want to ski on mogul skis.” That experience made me want to pursue the sport seriously.

In training and competition, I try to make every step of the process count.

Rather than focusing only on immediate results, I want to learn from every practice and every experience and use them to keep improving and pushing beyond my limits.

TEAM BANKEI is full of teammates and older athletes I respect.

I want to become the kind of athlete who can inspire others to think, “I want to be like her.”

04 / MY STRENGTH

06 / MESSAGE

Stay Grateful. Keep Pushing Beyond the Limits.

In a sport where winning and losing are clearly defined, there are times when the result can affect how I feel.

But I am able to continue competing because there are people who watch over me and support me every day.

I want to keep approaching the sport with gratitude for everyone who makes it possible for me to compete.

And being able to continue moguls is only possible because we have snow.

I never want to take the environment that allows me to ski for granted, and I will continue working hard every day with gratitude.
