Think for Yourself. Compete Through the Turns.

Born in 2012, Rinka started skiing at the age of five and began competing in moguls in fifth grade.

Inspired by the many top athletes who have come through TEAM BANKEI, she joined the team in 2025 during her second year of junior high school.

In 2026, she placed second at the Bankei Moguls Competition and fourth in the junior high girls' category at the JOC Junior Olympic Cup.

With turns as one of her strengths, she continues to improve by thinking for herself rather than relying only on her coaches for answers.

THE NEXT GOAL.

THIS SEASON

My goals this season are to ski the Bankei course in 31 seconds and reach the podium at the JOC Junior Olympic Cup.

FUTURE

My goal is to reach the world stage together with my brother.

03 / ATHLETE STORY

Don't Wait for the Answer. Think for Yourself.

I joined TEAM BANKEI because I wanted to compete and grow in a team that has produced so many top athletes.

In both training and competition, I try not to rely only on my coaches. I make a point of thinking for myself.

Why didn't something work?
What can I change to make it better?

By working through those questions myself, I want to keep improving my turns, which are one of my strengths.

To me, TEAM BANKEI is a place where I feel safe and at home.

06 / MESSAGE

Be an Athlete People Truly Want to Support.

Winning is important.

But I believe the effort we put in every day, the way we approach the sport, and the respect we show our teammates and competitors matter just as much.

I don't want to be judged only by my results. I want to become the kind of athlete people genuinely want to support.

I never want to take being able to ski for granted, and I want to keep competing with gratitude for everyone who supports me.

I am also grateful to the coaches and physical therapists who help me build a stronger body and reduce the risk of injury.
